2000 to present: Freelance Artist and Art
Director
The Inner Circle, Hazleton, PA
Freelance Artist: Created illustrations,
websites, and graphic design
elements such as logos and layouts for a variety of
clients. Designed
and illustrated books, postcards, CD inserts and advertisements.
Art Director: Managed "The Inner
Circle," a book and electronic media
publisher. Oversaw the creation and illustration of
print products from
initial conception to layout and proofs, and assembled
and coordinated
teams of artists.
2003 to present: Technical Support
Specialist
Network Solutions, Drums, PA
Worked as a customer service representative
assisting customers with configuring and troubleshooting
issues related to websites, ecommerce, hosting and
email services. Served on a temporary web design team
as a consultant and designer creating websites for
customers using proprietary design tools. Received
three “Inner Circle” Awards for outstanding
service and support.
1993 to 2003: Manager
Kentucky Fried Chicken, Hazleton, PA
Supervised a restaurant comprised of
more then 30 employees. Responsibilities included:
hiring, employee training, scheduling, pay roll, cash
handling, product quality control, equipment maintenance,
and product ordering. Annual store revenue increased
13% during my tenure. Received the “Promised
Pride” award for excellent quality and service.
2000 to 2001: Art Lab Technician (Work
Study)
Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke, PA
Assisted with the set up of two computer
labs and was responsible for the installation of software
and maintenance of all Mac OS Workstations. Aided teachers
and students with computer related issues and worked
in the office setting appointments, taking incoming
calls, and organizing department mail.
1999 to 2002: Web Design Affiliate
Intergrafix, Hazleton, PA
Served as a consultant for overflow customers
and created websites, logos, and promotional material
within the confines of the client’s budget.
1998 to 1999: Mac OS Technical
Support
CyberComm Online, Hazleton, PA
Lead the integration of Mac OS-based
customers into the existing dial up network. Trained
other employees to use and support Mac OS computers.
Also responsible for the look of the company website
and advertising initiatives.
